Fans of Monica woke up to a new music video Today with the official release of the visual for the singer’s newest single Friends which features Ty Dolla $ign. Originally debuting in the songstress’s recent NPR Tiny Desk concert, Friends is the singers first music release in two years.

The Tasha Catour produced track is lifted from Monica’s forthcoming album Trenches which is expected to be released soon, via her own record label.
