In anticipation of the holiday season, multi-Platinum and JUNO-nominated artist Tyler Shaw today releases his beloved self-tilted Christmas album A TYLER SHAW CHRISTMAS on CD and vinyl from Sony Music Entertainment Canada. This release will re-introduce the warmth and holiday spirit that Tyler brings to fans and solidifies his place of honour as Canada’s Prince of Christmas.
Since its 2021 release, the album has become a beloved holiday mainstay, featuring two back-to-back #1 singles, “This Christmas” and “Christmas All Over Again” (Canada AC), as well as Maybe This Christmas,” “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,” and “O Holy Night” (feat. The Tenors). In 2023, A Tyler Shaw Christmas was nominated for a JUNO Award for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year, joining the select ranks of Canadian artists who have been JUNO Award nominated for holiday albums, including Michael Buble, Diana Krall, Celine Dion, and Sarah McLachlan. The physical version features three new songs – “What Christmas Means to Me,” “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home),” and “A Marshmallow World.”
“The release my first ever vinyl is a monumental moment in my career,” said Tyler. “I love to think of families returning to this album again and again, soundtracking the memory making of the holidays, and helping to bring a little bit of Christmas magic.”
In addition to this release, Tyler will be headed out on his beloved annual holiday tour next month. Tour tickets are available here. And for the second year in a row, Tyler will also be performing on the CP holiday train. This annual tradition will be providing his fans with an immersive holiday experience that is a mainstay holiday tradition in many communities across Canada.
